Working way up high

Temporary steel crossover beams have been installed at high level to support a crash deck scaffold at Guildford Cathedral.

This Heritage Lottery funded scheme involves removing the acoustic plaster to the vaulted ceilings and the re-decoration of the ceilings once completed. Decoration of the existing lime plaster walls and cleaning of Ashlar stone, A platform lift and ramp will be constructed outside the existing North East entrance, with a further ramp being construction to the west entrance.
