Buxton was honored to have worked for Canterbury Cathedral on 'The Canterbury Journey' project.
The new Visitor Centre was built adjacent to the Grade I listed Christ Church Gate part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The new Visitor Centre has been sensitively designed to complement the Cathedral and will provide information, exhibitions, ticketing services, and a shop with a free-to-enter Viewing Gallery, which will offer stunning views of the Cathedral, as well as a new Community Studio.
The essential work is possible thanks to a major grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, the Chapter of Canterbury, and funds raised by the Canterbury Cathedral Trust, The Friends, and many other private and charitable sources in the UK and USA.
