Commercial & Specialised Projects

Our extensive commercial portfolio includes a wide range of projects such as new build offices, workplace refurbishments, mixed-use developments, retail outlets, warehouses, and industrial spaces. At our company, we understand the importance of meeting tight deadlines and keeping costs under control while delivering high-quality results. We achieve this by carefully planning and programming each project to incorporate our client's specific requirements.

Many of our commercial schemes are situated in the heart of Central London, which presents unique challenges such as working on confined sites and in occupied spaces. Our team possesses the necessary expertise to tackle these challenges head-on, including a sensitive approach to listed building refurbishments and a deep understanding of effective space planning and reconfiguration. We work closely with our clients to gain a comprehensive understanding of their operational needs and aspirations.

At our company, we believe that each commercial building is unique and requires an individual approach. That's why we work closely with our clients to develop precise specifications that are tailored to their specific business goals and growth plans. We are committed to delivering bespoke commercial spaces that perfectly match our client's requirements and exceed their expectations.

Canterbury Cathedral - Visitor Centre

Buxton was honored to have worked for Canterbury Cathedral on  'The Canterbury Journey' project.

The new Visitor Centre was built adjacent to the Grade I listed Christ Church Gate part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The new Visitor Centre has been sensitively designed to complement the Cathedral and will provide information, exhibitions, ticketing services, and a shop with a free-to-enter Viewing Gallery, which will offer stunning views of the Cathedral, as well as a new Community Studio.

The essential work is possible thanks to a major grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, the Chapter of Canterbury, and funds raised by the Canterbury Cathedral Trust, The Friends, and many other private and charitable sources in the UK and USA.
