We are delighted to have been appointed to commence the works on Homefield House & Cheriton House for Brick By Brick who are planning to deliver up to 1000 high quality affordable homes in support of Croydon’s house building strategy.

The works at Homefield House will entail the demolition of a former care home and the creation of 14 new family houses and 10 apartments for private sale.

The mature trees along the perimeter of the site will be retained in order to protect its visual appearance and a new access will be created through the site, with pockets of greenery for use by the new homeowners that will establish a positive sense of community. Car parking spaces will also be provided with the provision of electric charging points.

The new homes will be constructed using light coloured brickwork, with subtle brick detailing and high quality materials, and supported by a timber frame system.

The works at Cheriton House will entail the demolition of a former care home and the creation of 27 new affordable homes and associated amenities/parking.

The site is close to the centre of Thornton Heath town centre and will comprise of a mixture of one and two bedroom apartments in two blocks. The new homes will be constructed using light coloured brickwork, with subtle brick detailing and high quality materials, supported by a timber frame, with steel frame balconies and walkways.

Buxton see this as an important opportunity to be part of this exciting frame work and look forward in delivering these schemes for the London Borough of Croydon and their residents.
