Buxton is delighted to announce the completion of Sylvan Grove.

This was a design and build negotiated contract with Hyde Housing Association. We constructed a block of 80 apartments from two to eight storeys high over three cores. The cores were split into 52 units for private sale, 14 shared ownership and 14 rental.

Construction:

• Piled foundations with concrete frame superstructure, clad externally with brickwork, roofs were single ply membrane with green areas.

• Mechanical & Electrical services via a centrally housed plant system with upgrade to the local electric sub station.

• Building separated into 3 cores each with their own access and lifts serving floors above.

• Internal finishes to a quality expected of a housing association and tenure.

• External landscaped areas with private decked areas, play equipment, parking for disabled vehicles and a number of electric charge points.

As with all Buxton’s projects Sylvan Grove was registered with the Considerate Constructors Scheme and was rated as an 'excellent site', we are proud to say we have now registered over 100 projects with the Scheme.
