All Saints Church - Fleet

We have begun the restoration of the internal decorations to the nave at All Saints Church in Fleet.

We are protecting what survived of the original artwork with a removable base coat and then reinstating the original designs to match, with heritage paints. This detailed work is time-consuming and meticulous but will look amazing.

This image also shows the rose window at the west end of the church.

Built between 1861-1862 in neo-classical design by one of the greatest Victorian architects, William Burges the grade II* listed church was devastated following an arson attack in 2015 and lost 100% of its roof and much of the ornate interior. https://www.buxtonbuilding.co.uk/post/all-saints-church-fleet
