Celebrating 100 years together

To mark Buxton’s 100-year anniversary, we hosted a lively staff celebration at Boom Battle Bar in London’s Oxford Street last week, proving that age is just a number — especially when the drinks are flowing. The venue buzzed with excitement as colleagues mingled, swapping stories that spanned decades. It was a night to celebrate not just the company’s legacy, but the incredible people who’ve helped shape it. And what better way to toast 100 years of success than with a glass (or two) in hand?

Of course, no company celebration is complete without a little healthy competition — enter the games. From darts to shuffleboard, and even a hilariously intense game of beer pong, it quickly became clear that while we might excel in our day jobs, some of us still need a little work on our aim!

Shouts of victory, groans of near misses, and plenty of good-natured ribbing filled the air. One team emerged victorious but, more importantly, by the end of the night, the bar was buzzing with laughter. It was a fitting celebration of a milestone few companies reach, made all the better by the people who make it happen every day.
