The roof structure is nearing completion at the new 632m2 crematorium in Hemel Hempstead. The 'hit n miss’ designed brickwork (shown in the photo) is for air movement/ventilation.
The single-story crematorium will feature a main building housing a chapel, which can seat up to 139 people, alongside associated services including congregation, crematory, administration, and staff spaces. The development also includes a separate pavilion with memorial facilities.
Works also comprise extensive landscaping, including car parking, memorial gardens, woodland areas, long grass meadows with mown grass paths, and hard landscaped entrance forecourt to the crematorium.
