We’re pleased to confirm that construction work is now underway at Winkworth Arboretum, where Buxton is working on behalf of the National Trust.
Following a period of project pause, mobilisation and site setup are now underway in preparation for the restart of this important scheme. The works will deliver new visitor facilities including a reception, shop and café, along with new office space, car and coach parking, and landscape restoration.
The project makes use of Modern Methods of Construction, with Cross Laminated Timber forming the main structural frame, along with renewable energy features to help reduce operational carbon.
We look forward to working with the National Trust, IPT Architects, Woodley Coles, MEP Concepts, and RGP as the project progresses.
