Project Update

12th July 2023

Following the recent discovery of Asbestos during the excavation of the basement, to comply with the requirements of planning, all works ceased. Buxton have since undertaken further investigation and produced a remediation plan for submission to and approval of RBKC for the safe and controlled removal of the Asbestos.

We are pleased to inform you that the site activities will recommence as follows,

14th – 19th July 2023: installation of site hoardings and entrance gate on Silchester Road.

24th April – 02 September 2023: The Implementation of the remediation plan as approved by the RBKC Environmental Health Department.

24th July to 13th August 2023: Undertake essential drainage works on Silchester Road which will require a road closure and the suspension of the southern pedestrian footpath. The northern footpath will remain open, and a traffic diversion route has been submitted to and approved by RBKC highways. In the interests of public safety, and to limit disruption, we have planned the works to be undertaken during the school holiday period.
