Ghostly goings on at Buxton

Earlier this year, we were approached by a local student from London South Bank University, who asked if she could film part of her documentary at our head office, Cedar House.
The film explores Caterham’s folklore, with Cedar House featuring due to its history and stories including a resident ghostly monk!
Madeline and her team visited earlier in 2025 to capture footage both inside and outside the building. They were professional throughout, and even uncovered some lesser-known stories from letters once held here.
