It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas

Every year the local community come together to celebrate the start of Christmas by switching on the lights of the famous Cedar tree at our head office in Caterham.

This year's programme was as follows:

• 5.45pm to 6pm Carols by the Oxted Brass Band

• 6pm to 6.10pm Singing by Hillcroft School Choir

• 6.10pm to 6.20pm Singing by St Francis School Choir and Audley School Choir

• 6.20pm to 6.30pm Carol singing (all joining in) led by the Caterham Community Choir, St Francis School Choir, Hillcroft School Choir, Audley School Choir and accompanied by The Oxted Brass Band.

• 6.30pm Switching on of the lights by Father Christmas.

Meanwhile inside Cedar House our tree is up and our halls have been decked on boughs of holly
