We have recently started on site to deliver 27 new homes in the heart of the Surrey Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty and within the Green Belt of Surrey. Throughout the tender process we established there were 7 species of bats present which required temporary rehousing and the provision of bat boxes on the fronts of the new houses and some within the loft spaces.

Slow worms were also found with 73 being translocated prior to the demolition works, a reptile exclusion fence has been installed to prevent any reptile from re-entering the site during the construction phase. The scheme is being constructed to CFSH Level 4.
