The team at Buxton are delighted to have successfully handed over the completed project at Hatcham Temple Grove Primary School. The works for the Haberdashers Aske’s Federation, included the reinstatement, refurbishment and extension to the school following a fire that badly damaged the Victorian building.
The plans for the school included improving the circulation around the site and the efficiency of the existing layout. Teaching facilities were upgraded with modern equipment and IT as well as creating informal and open teaching spaces.
The works also included the construction of a new assembly hall that was large enough to host events with the entire school in attendance. Finally the new building and the existing shell were fully insulated to meet current standards with new energy efficient boiler and services etc.
