Drama for Buxton Bear!

Thankfully the quick thinking of a local passer-by at Avenue School on Saturday evening thwarted the kidnap of Buxton Bear who together with a wide range of other possessions was stolen from our secured site.

However, we are very pleased to report Buxton and all of the stolen items have been returned to their rightful owners and it is now back to business as usual.

Buxton Building Contractors would like to thank the vigilance and assistance of the local community for raising the alarm and to the Metropolitan Police and especially PC Ginn for their swift action.

The offending criminals have been charged and photo below shows Buxton Bear looking bewildered as he is rescued from the vehicle together with the other stolen goods.
