Summer of Sustainability

Our Summer of Sustainability initiative is going great! Here are just a few of the things we've focused on in the last two weeks:

  • Social value commitments: We believe in the power of community at Buxton. We're actively seeking partnerships with local organisations, whether it's a football team in need of a sponsor or a charity looking for volunteers.

  • Mental health and wellbeing: Our commitment to wellbeing goes beyond physical health. We recognise the importance of mental health and offer resources like our Employee Assistance Programme, Lifeworks, to support our team in all aspects of their lives.

  • Understanding sustainability: Sustainability is more than just a buzzword for us. It's about making positive impacts on the environment, society, and economy. Our three pillars - Environment, Social Value, and Economic - guide our approach, ensuring we create lasting value for all.

  • A sweet gesture: Our office manager Becky Rowe is hosting an internal cake sale to raise funds for charity. It's just one of the many ways we come together to support worthy causes and make a difference.

We're not just builders; we're community partners. As we continue our journey, we invite you to be a part of our mission to make the world a better place.
