We are proud to have completed 12 Claremont in Hastings on behalf of Hastings Commons Neighbourhood Ventures. The project focused on restoring and reimagining the historic building, turning it into a vibrant centre for creativity and community use.
The completed scheme provides space for artists and other local business enterprises. These facilities will foster collaboration, encourage inclusive practice, and promote community-led regeneration, ensuring 12 Claremont once again plays an active role in the cultural and social life of the town.
Throughout the build, the site team, led by Site Manager George Riddles, engaged closely with the local community, including supporting Hastings Food Bank. Their efforts were also recognised with an excellent score of 43 out of 45 in the Considerate Constructors Scheme audit – a clear reflection of the quality, care, and professionalism shown on site.
This project reflects Buxton’s commitment to delivering high-quality construction while supporting initiatives that provide long-term social value and benefit to local communities.
