We had a fantastic mountain bike ride over the South Downs last night, dropping down to our Stanmer Park project. It was one of our biggest group rides of the year. Great to see familiar faces like Mark, Dan, Dave, Ivan, and Brad back in action.
A special shoutout to Dave for sticking with it, especially considering it's tough when you've been out of the saddle for a while. Ivan, we hope you're doing okay after your tumble!
Although it was a challenging ride with an elevation gain of 1686ft, the conditions were perfect for riding. We took our customary group photo at Ditchling Beacon and managed to return just as the day turned to dusk.
Looking forward to next week's adventure in the Surrey Hills!
