Buxton is pleased to have completed The Cornerstone building in Woking. This design and conversion project transformed an existing office building into 94 residential units, comprising studio, 1, 2 and 3 bed short-term let apartments.
The Cornerstone is situated in a prime location to enable commuters ease of access into London, as the mainline station is just a stone’s throw away, whilst Woking town itself offers retail and leisure opportunities for local residents.
Associated hard and soft landscaping was carried out along with below-ground drainage works and mains service connections.
One of the key challenges of this project was the challenging and restricted location. The building is situated on The Broadway, with neighboring occupied buildings, and is also adjacent to a railway line.
