Buxton is delighted to have played a successful part in enhancing the visitor experience at the historic Eltham Palace. The new Café, Shop and Visitor Centre was handed over this month in time for the grand reopening to the public.
The works comprised the partial demolition of an existing glass house, alterations to the existing bothy, glass house repairs and re-glazing and the construction of a new Visitors Centre with associated works.
Eltham Palace and Gardens were able to operate a normal service and remained open to the public throughout the construction period.
