We’re pleased to share our latest project portfolio featuring our work at Winkworth Arboretum for the National Trust, near Godalming, Surrey.
Buxton delivered the new visitor gateway and associated works, creating improved welcome, orientation and visitor facilities within this nationally significant landscape.
Working within a live and environmentally sensitive setting required careful planning throughout, protecting existing trees, habitats and pathways while minimising disruption to visitors.
The project also provided opportunities to deliver wider social value, including volunteer activities at the Arboretum and working with Community Wood Recycling to reuse recovered timber, reducing waste while supporting training and employment.
