Buxton Building Contractors Ltd is proud to have successfully delivered 26 new affordable homes as part of the West Wickham project, supporting Bromley Council’s ongoing commitment to creating more affordable housing through its Bromley People Initiative.

The two new blocks, named Richmal Court and Crompton Court, sit adjacent to the newly renovated Chislehurst Library and are named in honour of the celebrated author Richmal Crompton.

Cllr Yvonne Bear, Executive Councillor for Renewal, Recreation and Housing, praised the scheme, saying:

“This is a fantastic example of what we are able to achieve by using underused land. Not only does it bring forward much needed homes, but it will also generate financial savings as it reduces the need to use temporary accommodation, which is expensive.”

The West Wickham scheme adds to Buxton’s growing portfolio of successful housing projects, following on from previous Homes for Bromley People developments in Anerley, Bromley, and Chislehurst, which collectively delivered 60 new homes.

Buxton is delighted to have partnered with Bromley Council on this project, helping to provide high-quality, affordable housing for local communities.
