Breakfast, Conversation and Teamwork at Royal Russell Junior School

Last week at Royal Russell Junior School, the site team marked Mental Health Awareness Week with a breakfast morning for everyone working on the project.
Bacon and sausage rolls, vegan options, fruit and cereals all went down well and, more importantly, it gave everyone the chance to stop for half an hour, catch up and start the day together.

The conversations focused on wellbeing, teamwork and the importance of looking out for one another on site. People spoke about the things outside work that help them maintain balance and switch off; family, holidays, food, faith and time with friends.
One point that came through strongly was how much people value simple appreciation and being part of a positive team environment. Small things can make a real difference.
Thanks to Simon, Otis and Dylan, for organising it and to everyone who took part.
