A state-of-the-art glass lifting robot is being used by our specialist subcontractors at the new Royal Russell Junior School building to install the curtain walling and windows.
The compact, battery-powered machine uses powerful suction pads and a fully articulated arm to lift, tilt, rotate, and precisely position large, glazed panels weighing several hundred kilograms.
Designed for even the most difficult environments, confined spaces and uneven ground, the robot enables accurate installation reducing the need for excessive manual handling and the prevention of musculoskeletal disorders. Its use not only improves health, safety and efficiency on site but also reduces the risk of damaging the glass during installation.
