Meet the Buyer - East London Business Summit

This week, we joined the East London Business Summit – Meet the Buyer event at the ExCeL Centre. The session brought together local businesses, contractors, and public-sector partners for a fast-paced round of introductions, all aimed at strengthening East London’s supply chain.

Our attendance supports the commitments set out in our PCSA for Lady Helen Seymour House for the London Borough of Newham, procured through the Procure Partnerships Framework. A key part of this stage is widening our engagement with local suppliers and making sure upcoming opportunities are visible within the community.

The event gave us a strong mix of conversations with trades, material suppliers, and professional services based in the area. It was a useful chance to learn more about local capability and to share information about the works ahead.

We’ll be following up with several businesses over the coming weeks as we shape the next stages of the project. Thank you to the organisers and everyone who came to speak with us, it was a positive and productive day.
