This week, Buxton was proud to support Nescot College, a local further education provider known for its hands-on construction courses; by donating four pallets of bricks to aid their practical training sessions.
Nescot, which offers a range of construction-related programmes including bricklaying, plays a vital role in preparing the next generation of skilled tradespeople. By donating surplus materials from our sites, we’re helping ensure students have access to the resources they need to develop their craft in a real-world setting.
This donation is part of Buxton’s wider social value commitment to support education, reduce waste, and invest in the communities where we work. We’re always looking for opportunities to make a positive impact whether that’s through employment, training, or resource-sharing.

We look forward to continuing our relationship with Nescot and other local institutions as we work together to build a more sustainable and skilled future.
"A big thanks to Jamie and the team at Buxton for delivering bricks to Nescot College this morning. It makes a real difference for our students, especially those on construction courses to have access to the right materials for hands on learning. We really appreciate the support" Jen Harvey, Nescot College
