As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting staff mental health and wellbeing, we are hosting a Well-Being Breakfast this week. We are starting our day with a positive boost with a selection of juice, fruit, and pastries, all chosen to nourish both body and mind.
While breakfast may seem like a small gesture, it’s a meaningful way to recognise the link between what we eat and how we feel. Research shows that a balanced diet can significantly impact mood, energy levels, and even concentration. By starting the day with nutritious choices like fresh fruit, whole grains, and hydration, we’re not just fuelling productivity; we’re supporting each other’s mental resilience and overall wellbeing.
Good nutrition doesn’t need to be complicated. Eating regularly, staying hydrated, and including healthy fats and proteins in your meals can make a real difference. Foods like nuts, seeds, avocados, and eggs all support brain health. And don’t forget your gut a healthy digestive system plays a role in how we process stress and emotions.
