An estimated 1,000 people came to see the Cedar tree lights switched on and £560 was raised for 1st Caterham Scouts and Guides. It was a true community effort. Thank you to St Francis, Hillcroft and Audley Schools (singing and staging), Blends Catering (mince pies), The King and Queen Public House (mulled wine), Buxton Building Contractors (use of car park and power for the tree), Caterham School (brass band and piano accompaniment), the Scouts and Any Parr MBE (all their help)
