Celebrating YouthBuild Graduates and the Power of Connection

We were delighted to attend the YouthBuild Ventures UK Celebration Evening, celebrating the achievements of an inspiring group of young people graduating from the programme. It was an emotional and uplifting evening, made even more powerful by the speeches from mentors and the young people themselves.

Before Christmas, Buxton Building Contractors supported the cohort by delivering mock interview sessions, so it was fantastic to see the students again at the finish line and celebrate how far they had come. We’re confident they all have bright futures ahead.

A proud moment for us was seeing Bradley Rackley, now a trainee at Buxton Building Contractors and a YouthBuild alumni, take to the stage to deliver a speech. We first connected with Bradley through YouthBuild, and his journey highlights the value of strong partnerships in creating real career opportunities.

This evening was a reminder that simple connections with the right programmes can make a lasting difference. By engaging with meaningful social value initiatives, businesses can help open doors, support talent and strengthen communities.
