Buxton are nearing the completion of a new recreational facility for The Kings School in Canterbury.
Works comprised the stripping back of an existing vehicle body shop to the steel frame, re-cladding of envelope, new blockwork, installation of new windows and doors, new M&E services, new external MUGA, new specialists sports floor and new changing facilities.
The sports hall has been designed as a multi-functional arena including court layouts for five a side football, badminton basketball and primarily fencing. The 18 fencing pistes are internal standard and is one of the largest facilities of this kind in the country.
