Supporting Future Talent at the Brighton Youth Employment Hub’s Construction Event

Buxton Building Contractors recently attended the Brighton Youth Employment Hub’s Construction Event, a fantastic afternoon focused on careers in the construction industry.

Jamie and Jim from Buxton spoke to attendees about the wide range of job roles available, apprenticeship opportunities, and the key qualities employers seek.

The event also featured talks from Plumpton College and the Functional Skills Team, covering apprenticeship routes, training programmes, and the importance of qualifications like the CSCS Card.

In the later networking session, we connected with attendees alongside partners from GBMET College, Plumpton College, and Brighton & Hove Council’s Apprenticeship team.
